Further north of Meadow lake, including Ile a la Crosse, Beauval, Buffalo Narrows and La Loche is under a severe thunderstorm warning.Įnvironment Canada’s heat warning for Saskatchewan includes southeast and east central Saskatchewan, as well as north of Saskatoon including Prince Albert and further west to Rabbit Lake. This watch will continue through the afternoon and into early evening (Mon). Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible. Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes.
It’s for the western edge of the province from Leader and further north including Kindersley, Rosetown Biggar, Lloydminster, the Battlefords and Meadow Lake. Along with heat warnings in southeast and east central Saskatchewan, Environment Canada has also issued a tornado watch.
